LAW ENFORCEMENT: Total Calls For Service: 1086 Total Arrests: 49
NARCO: Total new drug cases: 6 Total arrests: 2
CORRECTIONS: Average Number of Inmates: 72 Monthly Total Made for Boarding In: $54,756.00; Yearly Total: $144,737.52
CIVIL: Total Summons/Complaints/Services: 41 Total Income Executions: 26 Total Evictions: 7
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH:
04/01/2016: Officers used “Project Lifesaver” to find a missing Vulnerable Adult who had wandered off in Seneca Falls. The equipment functioned flawlessly and the missing person was found safe and sound.
04/04/2016: A driver involved in a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred in August 2015, on Route 5, Montezuma Flats was indicted on several felonies including Criminally Negligent Homicide and Manslaughter.
04/11/2016: The Narco Unit took down a Crack Cocaine Dealer in Waterloo for selling Crack in Seneca County.
Road patrol caught three narcotic possessions on traffic stops during the month—cocaine, heroin and narcotic pills.
04/13/2016: A Town of Lodi residential Burglary was solved; the suspect was arrested.
04/15/2016: An indictment was obtained for Attempted Murder in an extreme Domestic Violence case in the Town of Covert.
04/22/2016: A Corrections Officer Academy hosted by our Sheriff’s Office successfully concluded. 18 Officers from Seneca, Ontario, Yates and Wayne County attended.
