FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On April 11, 2016, at about 11:10am, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Teshawn L. Jones, age 23, of 141 High Street, Apartment Seven, Geneva, New York, on several charges related to the sale and distribution of crack cocaine in the local community. It is alleged that Jones sold crack cocaine on two separate occasions recently in the Town of Waterloo. After Jones was taken into custody, he attempted to conceal a quantity of crack cocaine intended to be sold which was later discovered by Sheriff’s Deputies. Jones was charged with:
Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts), Class B Felonies
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (three counts), Class B Felonies
Jones was arraigned in the Covert Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 secured bond. Jones is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on April 14, 2016 at 5pm.
The Narcotics Unit was assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Uniform Road Patrol and the New York State Police.
