Press Release - Domestic Violence Arrest
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
04/01/2016: The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Seneca Falls man was arrested after an investigation into ongoing Domestic Violence. Arrested was: Steven J. Farnsworth, age 36, of 27 Garden Street, Seneca Falls, NY. Farnsworth was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, two counts of Harassment 2nd degree and one count of Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation. It is alleged that Farnsworth engaged in Domestic Violence on more than one occasion with a Town of Seneca Falls female by subjecting this female to physical violence, threats and choking. The Endangering charges stem from the physical violence being perpetrated in the presence of children. Farnsworth was arraigned before the Town of Waterloo court, committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1000 cash, $4000 bail bond. A full state-away Order of Protection was issued. Farnsworth is to appear before the Town of Seneca Falls court on April 7, 2016 at 7 pm to answer to the charges. This investigation is continuing.
