Press Release - Narcotics Arrest

On April 1, 2016, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested two subjects following an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin and opiate pills in the Village of Waterloo.Arrested were the following: Kley M. Greenfield, age 33, of 21 ½ West Main Street, Waterloo, New York, was charged with three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class B Felonies.  It is alleged that Greenfield sold heroin on two separate occasions and sold a quantity of oxymorphone, commonly known as Opana, on one occasion, while in the Village of Waterloo.  Greenfield was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded back to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.  Greenfield is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date. Daniel R. Paulsen, age 49, of 29 Wycliffe Road, Waterloo, New York, was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, Class B Felonies, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony.  It is alleged that Paulsen sold heroin on two separate occasions while in the Village of Waterloo.  Paulsen was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded back to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.  Paulsen is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court at a later date. Both Greenfield and Paulsen are already remanded to the Correctional Facility in relation to multiple drug charges stemming from two search warrants that were executed on February 19, 2016. Sheriff’s Investigators worked closely with members of the Waterloo Police Department on this joint investigation.
