Press Release - falsifying business records/petit larceny arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on August 21st at 6:04pm, Deputies arrested 27 year old John E. Weber of 241 East main St. in Waterloo for one count of Petit larcent (class A Misdemeanor) and one count of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st Degree (class E Felony). The arrest stems from a complaint at a Town of Junius Business where is is alledged that while Weber was employed at the business, he stole cash and merchandise. It is also alledged that Weber used his priviliges to access the cash registers and falisfy records to be able to steal money from the drawer. Weber was issued appearance tickets for the Town of Junius court and is to appear on the 15th of September at 7pm to answer the charges. Deputies were assisted by Investigators from the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division.
