Press Release - Update to Domestic Arrest
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports, on 10/06/14 at approximately 9:54PM Deputies arrested, Kenneth E. Hurd of 393 Wagner St. Lot 95, Waterloo, NY. Hurd was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and two counts of Harassment in the 2nd degree. It is alleged that Hurd struck a 16 year old male and then bit him on the rib cage. Hurd then struck another female who was attempting to stop the altercation. There was also a 15 year old female present during the incident. Hurd was then transported to the Town of Waterloo Court where he was arraigned on the above charges. He was committed to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $3000 cash, $5000 secured bond. He is scheduled to re-appear at the Town of Waterloo Court on 10/09/14 at 5:00PM.
*After the initial arraignment, Hurd was charged with one count of Criminal Tampering 3rd. It is alleged that while in police custody he intentionally defecated and urinated in the rear of a Seneca County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket and scheduled to appear at the Town of Waterloo Court at the above date and time.
