Press Release - Car/Pedestrian MVA
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On August 7, 2014, at about 4:17pm, the Seneca County Sheriff's Office responded to a personal injury car/pedestrian accident on the grounds of Empire Farm Days in the Town of Seneca Falls.
A vehicle being operated by Eric N. Jensen, 44, of 359 Cottrell Road, Waterloo, New York, was towing a utility trailer and was turning in a field in an attempt to park. Jensen failed to observe that a pedestrian was too close to the trailer and the pedestrian was struck.
The pedestrian, Timothy M. Patchen, 24, of 1725 County House Road, Waterloo, New York, suffered a lower leg injury and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance. There was no damage caused to the vehicle or trailer.
