Press Release - Sheriff's Narcotics Unit arrest four subjects

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested four persons over the last week in connection with narcotics investigations involving the sale and distribution of heroin and opiate pills in the Seneca Falls and Waterloo communities.

Arrested were the following:

Phillip G. Yates, age 53, of 350 Waterloo/Geneva Road, Apartment 9, Waterloo, New York, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts) – Class B Felonies

It is alleged that Yates sold oxycodone on two separate occasions in the Town of Waterloo.  Yates was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail.  Yates is to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on June 11, 2014 at 11am.

Kerry L. Cooke, age 27, of 26484 Leray Park Lane, Lot 14, Calcium, New York, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree – Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree – Class B Felony

It is alleged that Cooke sold heroin on one occasion in the Town of Seneca Falls.  Cooke was arraigned in the Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail/$1,000 secured bond.  Cooke was to reappear in the Waterloo Town Court on June 5, 2014 at 4pm.

Anna M. Fenton, age 28, of 1859 Auburn Road, Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (three counts) – Class B Felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (three counts) – Class B Felonies and Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree (two counts) – Class E Felonies

It is alleged that Fenton sold heroin on three separate occasions in the Town of Seneca Falls and Village of Waterloo.  It is further alleged that Fenton worked in concert with another person to sell heroin on two of the three occasions.  Fenton was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail/$50,000 secured bond.  Fenton was to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on June 3, 2014 at 10:30am.

Kayla A. Sandroni, age 22, of 4361 Route 414, Fayette, New York, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts) – Class B Felonies and Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree (two counts) – Class E Felonies

It is alleged that Sandroni worked in concert with another person to sell heroin on two separate occasions in the Town of Seneca Falls and Village of Waterloo. Sandroni was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and released to electronic home monitoring under the supervision of the Seneca County Probation Department.  Sandroni is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on July 2, 2014 at 9am and the Seneca Falls Town Court on July 3, 2014 at 10am.

Members of the Narcotics Unit were assisted by members of the Sheriff’s Uniform Road Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions and from the Seneca Falls Police Department.   During the investigations and arrests, Sheriff’s Investigators seized quantities of heroin, narcotic pills, United States Currency and vehicles.
