The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Tuesday March 10th at around 4:58 PM Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 655 State Route 318 in the Town of Junius for a Theft Complaint. It was reported that two females were observed taking several items and leaving without paying. Deputies were able to locate two female subjects that were found to be in possession of stolen property and unlawfully possessed Marihuana. Jessica Monserrate 20 , of Syracuse was charged with three counts of Petit Larceny, three counts of Possession of Burglar’s tools, one count of conspiracy in the 6th degree, one count of possession of stolen property in the 5th degree, unlawful possession of Marihuana, and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Brittany Johnson age 26 of Syracuse was charged with two counts of Petit Larceny, two counts of possession of burglar’s tools, one count of Conspiracy in the 6th degree along with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Both Jessica and Brittany were transported to the LEC and processed at the Jail where they were released with appearance tickets and are to appear at the Seneca County CAP court on March 27th 8:00 AM to answer the charges.
