Forgery/Larceny Arrest

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on February 1, 2023 Investigators arrested Fredrick C. Parish, age 57 of Seneca Falls, NY, on charges following an investigation into a fraud complaint. It is alleged that in October 2022 Parish fraudulently filed paperwork with the Seneca County Clerk’s Office that resulted in him acquiring ownership of a property located in the Town of Fayette. After fraudulently acquiring the property, it is further alleged that Parish then attempted to extort the original owner for money in lieu of transferring the property back. As a result of the investigation Fredrick Parish was charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd, 2 counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing 2nd and Attempted Grand Larceny 4th. Parish was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Waterloo Town Court on February 22, 2023 to answer the charges.
