The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sept 8th at about 8pm , Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Marlene Hamilton 62 of Interlaken N.Y. after a traffic stop on RTE 96A in the Town of Romulus. Deputies report they observed Hamilton operating her vehicle at a high rate of speed south bound after failing to yield at a yield sign and failing to maintain her lane. Sheriff’s Deputies noticed Hamilton had an open container of an alcoholic beverage and was found to be driving while intoxicated. A previous conviction within ten years makes this a felony charge. Deputies issued Hamilton tickets for failure to keep right , failure to yield at a yield sign, speed over state limit , consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and DWI . All charges will be answered at Town of Romulus Court on October 25, 2019 at 10am.
