The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on January 13, 2023 at 7:01 PM, Seneca County Deputies arrested Norman H Chapman, Age 51, of 616 W Clinton St Ithaca, NY, on County Route 142 in the Town of Covert. Chapman was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor), Driving With .08% or more alcohol (Misdemeanor), and Driving Across a Hazard marking (Violation)

Deputies report that the arrest stems from a property damage accident on County Road 142 in the Town of Covert. No injuries were reported from the accident. Chapman was issued appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Covert Court on February 10th, 2023 to answer the charges.
