The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on January 8, 2023 at around 6:00 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2020 Ford Expedition on County Road 121 in the Town of Fayette for failing to stop for the flashing red light at the intersection County Road 121 and State Route 96. Following a roadside investigation, Deputies concluded that the operator of the vehicle, 47 year old Tracy R. Wolff of Fayette, was driving while intoxicated. Wolff was transported to the Seneca County Jail for processing. Wolff was released on an appearance ticket, and is expected to report to the Fayette Town Court at a future date to answer for the charges of Failing to stop at a flashing red light, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving with .08 of 1% or more of Alcohol. 23SH00626. 146.
