Drug Arrests

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports, members of the Narcotics Unit made the following arrests:

Rebecca E. Hackney, age 34, of Seneca Falls, NY. Hackney was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree. It is alleged that Hackney sold a quantity of Suboxone while in the Town of Seneca Falls. Hackney was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date. Investigators were assisted by the Seneca Falls Police Department.

Justin R. Bluto, age 34, of Waterloo, NY. Bluto was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance in the third degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana in the second degree. It is alleged that Bluto sold cocaine while in the Town of Seneca Falls. It is also alleged that Bluto possessed nearly an ounce of cocaine and marihuana at his residence in the Village of Waterloo where two children were residing. Bluto was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court and Village of Waterloo Court at later dates. Investigators were assisted by the Seneca Falls Police Department.

Alicia A. Wright, age 33, of Waterloo, NY. Wright was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the second degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance in the third degree, and two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the first degree. It is alleged that Wright sold over a half ounce of methamphetamine at her residence where two children were residing. Three separate search warrants were conducted and $10,000 cash, along with nearly four ounces of methamphetamine were recovered. Investigators were assisted by members of the Ontario County Drug Task Force and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

A 17 year old male from Ovid was arrested and charged with Burglary in the third degree, Criminal Mischief in the second degree and Grand Larceny in the fourth degree. It is alleged that the male entered a greenhouse, stole and damaged numerous hemp plants. The male was arrested and referred to the Youth Part of Seneca County Court. He is scheduled to appear at a later date.
