The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Court Security Division provides security, protective and bailiff services to the Supreme Court, Family Court, Surrogates Court and Seneca County Court sitting in the Seneca County Courthouse in Waterloo.

All Court Security Officers have undergone Court Security Officer training as mandated by the New York State Sheriff’s Association Court Security Accreditation Program. Photographs to the right depict all of our Court Security Officers taking part in a training program dealing specifically with Court Security issues.

The Court Security Division is responsible for all security related issues in connection with Courts at the Seneca County Courthouse in Waterloo, New York. The Division’s day to day operations are under the direct supervision of Sergeant Christopher King with administrative oversight provided by the Chief Deputy.

The Court Security Division is staffed by One Sergeant, one deputy sheriff and several Special Patrol Officers.

Funding for the Court Security Division is partially reimbursed by the New York State Office of Court Administration.
