The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, January 7th, 2022 at around 6:20am, Deputies arrested 34 year old Shane D. Delello of Syracuse, New York. The arrest was the result of an initial traffic violation deputies observed in which a vehicle pursuit ensued that ended in a traffic stop in the Town of Romulus. The deputies pursued Delello’s vehicle through the Towns of Fayette, Varick and Romulus. Delello was ultimately stopped for a speeding violation, and failure to obey a police officer when he did not pull over for deputies, which lead to the pursuit. Upon further investigation, it was found that Delello’s NYS drivers license was suspended/revoked. Delello was charged with Speeding in Zone Over 55 mph, Failure To Obey a Police Officer, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 2nd. Delello was released on appearance tickets and is set to appear in the Town of Fayette Court and Town of Varick Court on later dates to answer to the charges.

Bench Warrant
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Carolos Lozada, 30, of Geneva was arrested on a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear in Court. The Warant was issued out of the Town of Romulus Court for the original charge of Criminal Mischief 3rd. Lozada was taken into custody and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. Deputies were assisted by the Geneva Police Department.
DWI
The Seneca County Sheriff’s office reports that on 12/29/21 at approximately 3:39AM, Deputies responded to a business in the T/Tyre for the report of an intoxicated male attempting to leave the business in his vehicle. Deputies arrived on scene and observed the Suspect’s vehicle parked in front of the business entrance unoccupied with the engine running. Deputies were then confronted by a hostile male later identified as Jeremiah D. Gary age 44 of Utica NY as he was exiting the business. After a brief struggle, officers were able to place hand restraints on Gary and take him into custody. Gary was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, DWI and Criminal Possession of a Controlled substance in the 7th degree. Gary was transported to the Seneca County LEC where he would await CAP court later in the evening.
Domestic
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 1/2/2022 at approximately 12:22AM, Deputies responded to The Del Lago Casino/ Hotel in Tyre for the report of a Domestic Incident. Upon arrival, Deputies attempted to make contact with the male half later identified as Scott L. Thompson age 40 of Canandaigua but Scott refused to answer the door to the room he was staying in. Deputies eventually made verbal contact with Thompson but he remained locked in his room. Thompson then threatened to shoot officer’s if they attempted to enter. After a brief standoff, Deputies were able to talk Thompson out of the room peacefully and without incident. Thompson was later changed with Disorderly Conduct and Harassment in the 2nd degree. Thompson was issued an appearance ticket and is due in the T/Tyre court on a later date to answer the charges
Disorderly Conduct/ Assault
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 01/01/2022 at around the time of 01:00 am Deputies responded to the 1133 RTE 414 in the Town of Tyre, for the report of an unruly citizen. After investigation deputies arrested Nathan K Isaacson, 31, of 1077 Anstee Rd Clyde NY. Isaacson was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment 2nd, resisting arrest, assault 3rd and two counts of criminal mischief 4th. The Sherriff’s Office reports that Nathan was harassing Del Lago employees near the bar area; furthermore, it’s reported Nathan pushed several drinks off the bar and when security became involved Nathan began fighting with security guards. Nathan is scheduled to appear in the Tyre Town Court on January 12th to answer for these charges.
DWI
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on the 24th of December, 2021 at around 10:12 P.M., Deputies responded to the area of 676 Gravel Road in the Town of Tyre for the report of a one vehicle property damage accident. A White 2019 Ford RGE being operated by 25 year old Shelby L. Pokrzywa of 28 Chestnut Street in Seneca Falls was traveling South on Gravel Road when it left its designated lane and collided with a bridge structure. Pokrzywa did not sustain any injuries as a result of the crash. An investigation into the accident showed that at the time of the accident, Pokrzywa was intoxicated. Pokrzywa was arrested for DWI, Aggravated DWI, Driving with .08 of 1% of alcohol in her blood, and Failure to Use Designated Lane. Pokrzywa was transported to the Seneca County Jail where she was processed for the charges. Pokrzywa was released on an appearance ticket and is expected to report to the Tyre Town Court on the 12th of January, 2022 to answer for the charges against her. 21SH15332. 146.
DWI/ PD MVA
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 12/23/2021 at approx. 2034hrs deputies arrested Mary E Kenyon, 52 , of Ovid for leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while intoxicated and driving w/ .08 of 1% or more. The arrests stems from a property damage accident complaint in the Town of Ovid. Upon arrival deputies discovered that the vehicle had struck a building then left the scene. Deputies located the vehicle nearby and the driver Kenyon was taken into custody. Kenyon is to appear in the Town of Ovid Court on 01/17/22 at 1000hrs to answer to the charges.
House Fire
The Seneca Count Sheriff’s Office reports that multiple fire departments from Seneca County are battling a residential house fire at 6828 Beaujon Rd in the Town Of Romulus. The incident was reported by a passerby and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Surrounding fire departments are assisting and NY State Fire Investigators are on scene. It was reported that the house was not occupied by the homeowner at the time and several animals were saved. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of fire
Warrant
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on 12/6/21 at approx 1920hrs Deputies arrested Ronald Johnson Jr, 27, of Rochester on an arrest warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle 3rd degree. Johnson was arraigned at CAP court and ROR’ed. A class B order of protection was issued for the victim. Johnson is to reappear in the Town of Romulus court on 12/17/21 at 1030hrs.
Domestic
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on November 28th 2021 at approx. 1812 hrs. deputies arrested Tammy M. Wadhams, 60, of Romulus on two counts of Endangering the welfare of a child( class A misdemeanor) and one count of harassment 2nd degree (violation). The arrests stem from an incident where deputies were called to a residence in Romulus for a reported domestic. It is alleged that Wadhams had struck another person while two young children were present. Wadhams was arraigned in CAP court and released. A class B order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim and the two young children.
