The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Investigators arrested Christy B. Wilcox, age 43 of 3557 West Avenue, Interlaken, New York. Wilcox was charged on May 20th, 2019 with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for her involvement and actions involving a juvenile in the Town of Covert. In an effort to protect the identity of the juvenile, further information on the specifics of the allegations are not being released.
Wilcox is scheduled to appear in the Town of Covert Court on June 3rd, 2019 to answer the charge.
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 11th 2018 Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Bruce A. Denmark, age 40, of 2874 Darling Rd. Lodi, NY. Denmark was taken into custody following an investigation of the sexual abuse of a child. It is alleged that Denmark subjected a 13 year old female victim to sexual contact starting in 2013. During the course of the investigation, information was also uncovered regarding the physical abuse of a 13 year old male which is alleged to have occurred in 2018.
Denmark was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court before Justice Erway on one count of Sexual Abuse in the 1st degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child at which time he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriff in lieu of $2,000.00 cash bail or $4,000.00 secured bond. Class A orders of protection were issued on behalf of the three victims and Denmark was scheduled to return to the Lodi Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Guy B. Bowers, age 59, of 7746 Rock River Rd. Ovid, N.Y. on September 27th, 2018. Sheriff’s investigators arrested Bowers following the investigation of incidents that reportedly occurred during the months of November and December, 2016 at a Town of Ovid residence. It is alleged that Bowers subjected a 15 year old victim to sexual contact and activity on multiple dates during that timeframe. Bowers was charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Forcible Touching and Sexual Abuse in the 2nd degree as a result of the investigation. Bowers was processed at the Seneca County Correctional Facility where he remained in pre-arraignment detention awaiting a hearing in Centralized Arraignment Court. He was subsequently released; an order of protection was issued.
